Here many problems have no answer awaiting discovery at all — they are constitutively contested, open since antiquity and perhaps permanently. Others turn on lost evidence, the inexhaustibility of meaning, or the is–ought gap. So the axes are question-type and why it stays open; the characteristic exit is not proof but dissolution.
