When you submit a paper:
- The paper itself (PDF or text)
- Your email address (to deliver your Report)
- Payment information (processed by our payment provider — we don't store card numbers)
When you use our website:
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited)
- We use minimal analytics to understand how the site is used
We don't require you to create an account to use Solonic.
How We Use Your Paper
Your paper is processed to generate your Report. Here's what happens:
- Transmission to AI services: Your paper is sent to third-party AI APIs (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and others) for analysis. These providers process your content under their own usage policies.
- Not used for training: We do not use your paper to train any AI model. Our agreements with API providers require that your data is not retained for training purposes.
- Deleted after delivery: Once your Report is generated and delivered, your paper is deleted from our systems. We do not maintain a permanent archive of submitted papers.
- No sharing with third parties: We do not sell, license, or share your paper with journals, publishers, competitors, or anyone else.
